Here's what's new with Little Miss MJ:
* Makayla received a great report at her six-month well-visit. She weighed in at 16.1 pounds (54th percentile), and measured 26.5 inches (80th percentile). We did get some bummer news in that our pediatrician will be returning to UNM for a faculty position. I really appreciated how great she was with the kids, and will miss her a lot. She referred us to a couple of other pediatricians within the practice, so hopefully we'll find someone just as sweet and knowledgeable.
* Makayla is getting really good at eating solid foods. We are starting to experiment more with various foods, but just like her brother, she loves to eat sweet potatoes.
* Makayla is a rolling machine, and is starting to piece together four to five barrel rolls in a row (from back, to tummy, to back, etc.). For now, this is her desired mode of transportation.
* She is starting to sit up unassisted for short spurts of time.
* She is averaging about 10.5 hours of sleep each night. We generally put her down around 7:30pm, and she is our (very consistent) alarm clock at 6:00am each morning. She is also a great napper, taking three naps a day. The best part is that her middle nap overlaps Joshua's nap, so I get a few hours to play catch-up sans kids.
