Easter Visit
Joshua got to spend some time with Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa Rahe, as well as Aunt Megan over the weekend.
First Hike
We took Joshua for his first hike this past weekend. We went to Tent Rocks, which is named for the cone-shaped formations that appear in the rock. The scenery was awesome, and Joshua babbled with excitement the entire hike.

Full of sounds
Joshua is full of different sounds these days. Andrew and I are convinced that he's going to be the kid who talks too much in class because once he gets going, he doesn't stop:

Picture Albums
Just a quick update to point out a brand new feature here at the "Jumpin' JAG" blog. If you'll notice, on the right-hand bar, there are now links to each of the picture albums that we have previously been sending out by email. Now everything is all in one, convenient, easy-to-use location!
The 6th month album is the only new one that I know of for now, but stay tuned for the 7th month album coming soon to a blog near you. As a teaser, here is a picture soon to be seen in a new album...

Attitude
Joshua has definitely discovered his babbling voice, and is starting to put it to use. A few nights ago, Andrew and I were catching up on the day's sports by watching Sportscenter. Our little sports fan wanted to join in, but we didn't want him staring at the magic tube. Andrew was trying to cover Joshua's eyes, and he got upset and voiced his disapproval. Check it out:

7 Months Old
Joshua is 7 months old today! I shot some video of him this morning, and then put it to a super emo (emotional) song. I have to take advantage of the fact that he's still little and cute, so please bear with my sappiness. I hope you all enjoy a taste of his personality and what he's up to these days.

Pearly Whites
We brushed Joshua's teeth for the first time today. Like everything else that comes near his mouth, he was more interested in chewing on the toothbrush and licking the flavored toothpaste.
After I was done, I let him hold the toothbrush because he had been reaching for it the entire time. He proceeded to brush his own teeth (okay, gnaw on the toothbrush is probably more accurate). He looks like a seasoned pro!
When all was said and done, Joshua did what he does best - he turned into a ham in front of the camera, and I couldn't resist taking more pictures of his precious grin.

Grandma and Grandpa Visit
Grandma and Grandpa Grundstrom came to visit this past weekend. Joshua received lots of attention and gifts (to no one's surprise!)...
Being a Giants fan is in the genes
We finally broke out Joshua's drum that he got for Christmas, and Grandma taught him how to use it
Grandpa loved playing with Joshua at the park
Mmmmmmmm....
One of MANY kisses

Take me out to the ballgame...
I'm a day late in getting this on the blog, and had I been on time, maybe the Giants would have won last night. Nonetheless, in honor of MLB Opening Day, here is our little Giants fan sporting his game-day attire:
