Dogs and Infants

A few years ago, friends of ours told us that the things we found ourselves saying to our dog, would be no different than the things we would say to our infant.  It's amazing how true that is!  So, in honor of that realization, here are some of those one-liners that we have found ourselves muttering to both Ally and Joshua:

• "You are drooling everywhere."
• "No."
• "You are stinky."
• "You need a bath."
• "Your nails need clipped."
• "Roll over..."
• "Stop licking me."
• "Stop licking the couch." (okay, basically it's, "Stop licking (insert anything here)."
• "That's gross."
• "Come on, eat."
• "Sit."
• "Good boy/girl."
• "Stop whining."
• "That was a slobbery kiss."
• "You are being very needy."
• "What am I going to do with you?"
