State Fair

We had a fun time at the New Mexico State Fair...

Joshua turns three!

On September 7th, our little man turned three! It's amazing just quickly they grow up into little boys. He still has a love for all things truck-related. He is full of energy, yet can be very Type A and orderly when he wants to be. He likes to show his sister love by pinning her to the ground, although he will gently kiss and hug her occasionally. Other loves are singing, dancing, stickers, looking at pictures, and being a charmer. What a special little guy!

Minnesota

We took a trip out to Minnesota for a week to celebrate Great-Grandpa Roy's 90th birthday, as well as his anniversary with Great-Grandma Lois. We met a lot of family and friends, got some play time in at the Mall of America, and received lots of hugs and kisses from Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa. We are so thankful to have been able to visit!

Mall of America fun

We had an early birthday party for Joshua, and he got (of course) trucks!

Minion cupcakes...so cute!

August

August is still a blur for me. In a matter of a month, we worked through the highs and lows of buying a foreclosure, and sprinkled in a week-long trip to Minnesota in the midst of it. I am so glad to be on the other side of the process. We have been in our new house for almost two months now, and it feels more and more like home with each new day and memory. We have a guest room set up, so come visit us!

I know, I know...we've been on a LOOONNNNGGGG hiatus, but we're back! I am going to try and give you a glimpse into what we've been up to over the last few months, which includes a trip to Minnesota, a big move, and easing our way into fall with fun surprises. There probably won't be a whole lot of detail, but there will be pictures. After all, isn't the best part of the blog seeing those two adorable children grow up through pictures?! Without further adieu. here...we...GO...

More Life Pictures

Here's another quick life update in the form of some pictures...

Taking in a ballgame.

Living at Gamma and Papi's house is exhausting!

She just needs a good book and a cup of coffee.

Xeriscaped fun!

Climbing onto chairs and tables...such a big girl!

We took J on a Mommy/Daddy/Son date to Lowe's, and he built Dusty from the new Disney movie Planes

Cute as can be in that handyman apron!

We're in the midst of "C" week. "C" is for cow. When J gets up from his nap, we're going to make Cupcakes : )

During "B" week, we took a field trip to the Balloon Museum.

Insta-Update

We are waaaayyyyy overdue for an update. Rather than try to get it all out in writing, I'm going to attempt an Insta-update...aka: an update full of Instagram photos. For those unfamiliar with Instagram, it's basically an on-line photo-sharing site. I heard somebody say my generation's kids are going to have a photo album (or digital album) of little square photos. I laughed because there is a lot of truth to that!

Best packer around!

I can't believe Mommy trusted me with this ice cream cone.

Ice cream with sprinkles is his most favorite thing...EVER...

Sonic drinks and straws - who knew it could keep a toddler entertained for so long.

Papi's sidekick

Thankfully, we're years away from seeing this.

Doesn't this look like the face of a princess?!

Makayla's first time getting her toes painted...so adorable!
Enjoying the beauty on an evening walk.

My shadow is documentation that I am indeed a part of the family, even if you never see me in pictures.
