Balloon Fiesta

I have been going to the Balloon Fiesta ever since I was little, and it never gets old. It is so much fun to be able to share such a wonderful event with my kids. Joshua and Makayla have both gained a love for balloons, and light up when they see them. This is one tradition that will last for years to come!

September

Joshua likes to line up all of his trucks in a line. He did this while I was making dinner.

And she had the audacity to say, "Tada!"

State Fair

We had a fun time at the New Mexico State Fair...

Joshua turns three!

On September 7th, our little man turned three! It's amazing just quickly they grow up into little boys. He still has a love for all things truck-related. He is full of energy, yet can be very Type A and orderly when he wants to be. He likes to show his sister love by pinning her to the ground, although he will gently kiss and hug her occasionally. Other loves are singing, dancing, stickers, looking at pictures, and being a charmer. What a special little guy!

Minnesota

We took a trip out to Minnesota for a week to celebrate Great-Grandpa Roy's 90th birthday, as well as his anniversary with Great-Grandma Lois. We met a lot of family and friends, got some play time in at the Mall of America, and received lots of hugs and kisses from Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa. We are so thankful to have been able to visit!

August

August is still a blur for me. In a matter of a month, we worked through the highs and lows of buying a foreclosure, and sprinkled in a week-long trip to Minnesota in the midst of it. I am so glad to be on the other side of the process. We have been in our new house for almost two months now, and it feels more and more like home with each new day and memory. We have a guest room set up, so come visit us!

I know, I know...we've been on a LOOONNNNGGGG hiatus, but we're back! I am going to try and give you a glimpse into what we've been up to over the last few months, which includes a trip to Minnesota, a big move, and easing our way into fall with fun surprises. There probably won't be a whole lot of detail, but there will be pictures. After all, isn't the best part of the blog seeing those two adorable children grow up through pictures?! Without further adieu. here...we...GO...
